Ozzy Osbourne 1948–2025
He sang about going off the rails. Truth is, Ozzy Osbourne built the damn train.
From Sabbath’s grinding thunder to solo screams of rebellion, Ozzy never asked for permission. He howled, he shocked, he stumbled, and then—somehow—he outlasted them all. Through decades of chaos, reinvention, and riffs that could summon storms, he kept recording. Kept playing. Kept proving that being loud was sometimes the only honest thing left.
At Masters Radio, we didn’t relegate Ozzy to classic rock purgatory. We kept him on. From late-career albums like Ordinary Man and Patient Number 9 to his final concert (captured in Raven’s video short), the Prince of Darkness never dimmed. He adapted. He collaborated. He showed the next generation how to own a stage—and never give it back.
Ozzy is gone now. But the howl remains. The legacy remains. The songs still hit like thunder.
We’ll keep spinning them. Loud. Unapologetic. Eternal.
Rest wild, Ozzy.
